Repertoire Requirement
Required: Two contrasting pieces with or without accompaniment. Individual movements are acceptable.
Optional: One of your selections may be a movement from a chamber music work. Please take special care to ensure the highest possible audio/video quality for your submission (see guidelines below).
Video Recording Guidelines
– You may submit separate videos for each selection.
– Make sure that the auditioning student’s face is clearly visible, with their upper body near the camera.
– Ensure that the background of the video is simple, uncluttered, and not too bright (e.g., don’t stand in front of a window).
– Place the microphone close to the auditioning student and away from the piano.
Application fee (paid online via Acceptd)
Early bird (by April 1, 2023): $75

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Scholarship/Fellowship
Limited financial assistance is available and will be awarded on a merit/need basis in the most equitable fashion possible. Please note – while every effort will be made to meet all requests, financial assistance is not guaranteed.
Fellowships in Collaborative Piano are available. If awarded, Collaborative Piano Fellows will have their full tuition covered by TCMI as they will be engaged in collaborative playing with string participants during the week.
On-campus Accommodation Costs
May 29 – June 4, 2023
Double – Shared bedroom with community bathrooms: $450
Single – Private occupancy bedroom within an apartment (restroom(s) and kitchen located within the apartment): $575
Residency prices include all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) for the duration of the festival.
Commuter Meal Plan
$115 (includes 7 meals : Monday evening dinner, lunch & dinner Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday lunch)
