TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY

Our Campus

Our attractive 302-acre campus is nestled in a tree-lined neighborhood and is home to about half of our 9,700 undergraduates. Even first-time visitors to our inviting, walkable campus remark how TCU “feels like home.”

Facilities

The School of Music is housed primarily in 3 buildings:  Ed Landreth Hall, the Mary D. and F. Howard Walsh Center for Performing Arts, and the TCU Music Center, with supporting facilities in five other buildings. The TCU Music Center is home to the state-of-the-art Van Cliburn Concert Hall at TCU, a 717-seat venue featuring stunning architectural design and phenomenal acoustics. Ed Landreth Hall and the Walsh center contain teaching, practice, rehearsal, and performance facilities.

The Mary D. and F. Howard Walsh Center for Performing Arts is home to the PepsiCo Recital Hall, a 325-seat recital hall of unprecedented design with outstanding acoustics and a choral rehearsal hall. The piano wing is furnished exclusively with Steinway pianos (TCU was Texas’ first All-Steinway School) and includes teaching studios, practice rooms and an electronic piano lab.
